Take Tym You Deserve It!
I am Angela Anderson (Consultant # 985522) and I would love to share with you my Monthly Specials! I just joined Jordan Essentials (Jan 2023) but I have been doing pampering since 2014 and love what I do. I love being able to pamper others! Because You Deserve to Take Tym for YOU!
I have been doing direct sales for a long time looking for the right fit. I love networking and the fact I can provide for my family. In 2014 I found my home and loved what I was selling. I did very well and was able to travel for business. But there was a change in the company in 2019 and I had to make the decision to stay or go. I left because, at the end of the day, I have to look in the mirror and know I am doing the right thing. The products were no longer of the quality I could represent and the company no longer had the ethics I was willing to work with.
Something I have learned along the way of doing direct sales is some companies you really love disappear for many different reasons. Because of this, I have also learned to brand myself and not the company I am representing. It gets very expensive when you buy banners, business cards, and any other tools you may be using for a company that might vanish.
My husband and I talked about what it is I love about direct sales. That is when I said I love reminding people to take time for themselves. Reminding people to even take 5 minutes and to tell them that yes they are worth it.
Why is it important for me to tell people they are worth it? I have been in situations where I didn't think I was worth it. I had given up. I want to bring a smile to people. I want everyone to know they are worth it and not to give up.
In October 2014 the said company I had to leave because it changed was the company that changed my life. The products were natural and good for you. They felt like a spa yet I could afford them. During my time in the shower, I could feel the quality and say I AM WORTH IT. I could get out and conquer the day. This company got me out of my comfort zone and I traveled by myself to places that were unknown to me. I changed my hair color. I found comfort in who I was and not what I thought I had to be. Yes, a direct sales company changed my life! They brought out my strength, and they encouraged me. I had a great team leader and the owner of the company was amazing. She made me feel like I mattered, she knew who I was!
So when thinking about what I wanted to do I wanted to tell people to Take Time for themselves because they were worth it. Because in October 2014 I was given this advice and it mattered and changed my life.
That is how the name Take Tym came about.
When I left the company that changed my life I was lost trying to find another company to fill my void. In that, I found a great makeup company and skin care. I loved the makeup but the skin care was not what I was looking for, for me. The company also didn't have the vibe I was wanting. I still use their makeup because the matte Liquid lipstick is the best!! I also love their mascara. When you find something that works USE IT.
Then the health scare happened and I was freaking out. I work in schools with Life Skill kiddos. I wanted to be as healthy as I possibly could be for them and for me. I went looking for a company that had good healthy products and I found The Wellness company! I am 100% in love with the products and will always use them. But it isn't a direct sales company. It is a club with membership but so worth it. If you want to know more message me.
Then the owner of the company that I loved and left started up a new company and I jumped on board. Best products ever and she even opened up stones and crystals into it. It was everything body and mind! The best skin care, vitamins and crystals, and stones too. AMAZING. But said former company from 2014 I talked about caused trouble and things got put on the side burner for now. One day I will be back with her new company when she is able to bring it back.
Well, that brings us to now. I am selling a lot of my old stock and things on Mecari and I forgot how much I love hand-writing a little note and wrapping up the items in tissue paper and a cute box and sending them off to the customer. Knowing that it is going to bring a smile to their face. It has been refreshing and filling my cup.
I then noticed my former upline who I loved working with had left the company I had left earlier. Along with many others that I enjoyed working with. They all joined a new company and I had to check it out. These products look amazing and have a great price point. So I signed up under my former upline at The Body Shop. It was fun to be back with everyone and helping others Take Tym for themselves. But at the beginning of January, we all got an email from The Body Shop saying they were closing down the direct sales side in the USA which means we all lost our jobs.
I looked around trying to find my new home. I did not just jump to where my former upline was. I searched, tried samples and found that where they went was perfect for me. I joined Jordan Essentials. I love it even more than The Body Shop! The owner is still active and chats with us one on one. The company has been around for 23 years and the products are amazing!
Now we are up to date with why I am Take Tym.
